Toys for Tots is a program that was started by the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1947. The goal of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season and distribute them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children. All toys collected will go to children in our community.
This year we will be making stockings and gift bags to fill with toys. You simply buy a kit for $10, make the stocking/bag and fill it with unwrapped gifts. When you bring it back into the shop, I will give you a $10 gift certificate. There's no limit to the number you can make.
My goal this year is to donate 50 stockings and gift bags filled with toys! Please help me reach this lofty goal!

The toy collection was a big hit - we received 32 stockings and enough toys to fill a large collection box!
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped make this such a huge success. I know that we helped to make many children in the area happy this holiday season.
According to the Lancaster County Toys for Tots website, they collected 6,581 toys and supported 2,063 children in the Northern Neck. WOW!
